Potential to change our world forever - Adenosine triphosphate, or ATP for short, is our cell fuel. The daily consumption is so high that people have questions and find astonishing answers...
ATP, adenosine triphosphate, the driving energy of our cells
Mitochondria produce ATP for the cells. Their number varies depending on the type of cell. Liver cells have about 2,000 mitochondria.
The miraculous thing is that mitochondria have their own DNA. It is similar to that of bacteria. It is therefore assumed that a symbiosis between the cell and this type of bacteria has occurred at some point.
Mitochondrial DNA is inherited exclusively from the mother via the egg cell.
As mitochondria are similar to bacteria, antibiotics have a lethal effect on them. So antibiotics are not to be trifled with. I think it is not so much because of the risk of resistance developing, but rather that in addition to disrupting the intestinal microbiome, the mitochondria are also ruined. Fluoroquinolones have a particularly negative effect. This is called mitochondriopathy. As the cell organelles are primarily responsible for providing energy (in the form of ATP) in the body's cells, these diseases usually manifest themselves through massive weakness, fatigue and metabolic disorders.
Coenzyme Q10, L-carnitine and apparently also methylene blue can be used to counteract this.
We convert so much ATP that it corresponds to at least 50% of our own body weight
If you weigh 80 kg, you need at least 40 kg of ATP per day. With intensive work this can increase to 30kg/hour!
40 kg!, let's let that melt in our mouths. And then imagine how many kilograms of food we consume every day. How many kilocalories that is. Normally women need 2,000 kcal and men 2,500 kcal a day.
However, we also get building material for our cells from our food. The building material is therefore not involved in the energy supply at all. In addition, the bacteria in the intestine, the microbiome, help to break down food. Of course, these bacteria also need energy to do their job.
Kilocalories are a value that you can do little with. 2,000 kcal are 2,333 watt hours. An iron has 2,500 watts. Consequently, the food intake has less energy than is needed for less than one hour of ironing. But the calorific value given in kcal does not reach the body in full:
Food intake 2,000 kcal, minus
- Indigestible, unusable substances such as fiber
- Building material for cells
- Energy requirement of intestinal bacteria
= 1,500 kcal, = 1744 Wh (I assume hypothetically that 1/4 does not serve as an energy source)
Let's come back to the ATP requirement of 40kg ATP daily - what does that mean?
When ATP is "used up", ADP, adenosine diphosphate, is produced. In a cycle, ADP is reacted back to ATP and is thus available again as ATP.
40 kg of ATP correspond to around 0.71 kWh!
(If you want to do the math yourself: ATP > ADP 32 kJ/mol, ATP 507g/mol, 40kg/0.5kg/mol=80, 32x80=2560 kJ = 711 Wh, 711 Wh / 24 hours = 30 W)
At 24 hours, that's 30W/hour (Wh). Wow! We need to visualize that:
Energy consumption of a small classic light bulb
Or even more vividly: 30 Wh corresponds to lifting 3 kg in one second by one meter
Our whole body is supposed to function for an hour with so little energy? It is quite clear that this CANNOT BE THE CASE
A chemistry website also writes that the ATP/ADP, ADP/ATP absorbs energy from the "environment".
Energy from the environment?
The ATP<>ADP topic has been on my mind for several years and I am obviously not alone in asking questions and looking for answers...
From pure observation, the idea that there must be an invisible "energy" has been around since the early 1600s. Until the early 1900s it was referred to by many as the "ether". The Nobel Prize winner Smoot said in his speech that cosmic microwave radiation could be described as ether.
In quantum physics today we speak of zero-point energy. Basically, every particle/quantum emits energy - drawn from an external source. We know this particularly well from magnets, which we use everywhere in everyday life.
Potential to change our world from A-Z forever
I think we can say that our body has the incredible ability to harness energy from seemingly "nothing".
Everything we do or produce requires energy. Energy is still the monopoly of oil and gas producers, electricity and gas suppliers. For the state, energy is one of the biggest sources of revenue. For companies, energy is a cost factor that today, due to the government's need for money, puts them in dire straits or drives them into bankruptcy. Since we use energy to heat our homes, heat water and run our appliances, the government is driving many people into poverty. Because in addition to energy taxes, they have also added air taxes. There is obviously energy that can eliminate this system once and for all.
But, the interests of the energy monopolists and the government are powerful. They will not give up their business easily. Therefore, as many people as possible need to know that there are energy sources that we can use for free. They let us use solar cells today. Logically, these things are expensive, bring little AND, above all, they bring nothing at all in the dark. If a few people know about it, they can keep zero-point energy under control. If many people know, then they have no chance of keeping the lid on the pot.
There are countless patents on generators that draw energy from nothing. A patent doesn't say anything at first. You can also patent things that don't work. But the scene calls them free energy generators. Established science" ridicules everyone in the field of zero-point energy because there is no "perpetual motion machine".
The evidence is now so overwhelming that I don't think it will be long before the energy companies can pack up. It's sometimes trivial how easy it is:
I don’t think ATP and ADP is an energy reaction. It’s a phosphate soap. I think It’s a passive pathway through which salt water passes into and out of the cells.
The electrical energy arises from the water and salt.
The nature of water has been hidden from us, the bubble and drop model I describe in my article: we breathe air not oxygen - once widely known will help the energy engineers solve the free energy equation.
Water and air is the realm we live within.
Energy is conserved within this realm.
Water given energy becomes air.
Air gives up energy to become water.
This is the cycle of energy.
Water/air contains everything.
